The church was moved 10 feet off it's foundation after an EF-3 tornado tore through the town of Chapman, Kan. the evening of June 11th, 2008. One fatality was reported while 3 schools and 70 homes were destroyed and another 215 homes damaged. The cost to the town (pop. 2,900) is estimated at $70 million.
